Story

Hey guys and gals!

Well, after my wonderful boyfriend Eoin's two London Marathon efforts (2007 and 2009), I thought I would try out myself...I only went and got myself ballot entry for this year's London Marathon didn't I?? Eek! Luckily, this means I am under no pressure to raise thousands of squids but I have set myself the target of £500. I am running for a very worthy cause, Breast Cancer Care.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. The disease affects more than 46,000 women a year (and around 300 men). Just under 12,000 women and around 90 men die from breast cancer in the UK each year, however survival rates are improving. This is probably due to improved treatment and earlier detection through increased breast awareness and the NHS screening service, and they couldn't do it without generous donations from the public.

PLEASE sponsor me. Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.

I have been training hard since the beginning of November and it's been anything but easy if truth be told ;) However I know I am running for a worthy cause and that's where you guys come in with your moola!!

So PLEASE, anything you can spare kindly donate.  You can all really make a difference!

Cheers.
