The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

The RAF Central Fund works to safeguard the health and wellbeing of serving RAF personnel by enabling them to access sport and physical activites. Like many other charities, ours has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic as we will miss out on important fundraising opportunties due to the cancellation and postponement of mass sporting events.

With my dad having served in the RAF for over 30 years and now having witnessed first hand the benefits our charity provides to those in light blue, I want to do this in order to give something back. I also want to lead by example in the hope that others will follow in my footsteps and make the RAF Central Fund their chosen charity for The 2.6 Challenge.

MY 2.6 CHALLENGE
My goal is to burn 2,600 (2.6k) calories in 2.6 days through exercise and recording my effort through my MYZONE belt - please note this is additional to what I would burn naturally through normal day to day activities! I will begin on Sunday 26 April with a view to completing my challenge by 2pm on Tuesday 28 April. I will post pictures of screenshots from the MYZONE App to show how I am getting on with my challenge.
