Story

Save the UK's Charities General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

I will be adding a special workout to my planning and well-being youtube site in which I will be leading your isolation workout session in fancy dress. I would like to invite as many of you as possible to join me on Sunday 26th April at 12.30pm in your own fancy dress and complete the session with me (this is the original date of the 2020 London Marathon in which numerous participants would have been running to raise funds for NHS Charities Together and are no longer able to).

Search Planning Health and Wellbeing youtube Dave Roscoe to find the special session which will be uploaded in advance of the call to action on Sunday 26th April.

I've set this challenge up so people can have a bit of fun, continue to exercise and support to raise vital funds for the NHS. The NHS Charities Together represents, champions and supports the work of more than 140 member charities. These fantastic NHS Charities give over £1million everyday to the NHS enhancing patient experience and care.

I invite you to join the fancy dress exercise session and encourage you to make a donation to the site, get your friends and family involved or get them to pledge a donation to the fundraising page as a reward or dare for you to complete the workout session in fancy dress.

Let's try and raise as much money as we can to support.
