Save the UK's Charities
During lockdown, Street League’s focus is to reduce the devastating impact of the coronavirus crisis on vulnerable young people and help them to navigate this uncertainty as effectively as possible.
In response to the cancellation of hundreds of fundraising events, the organisers of the biggest mass-participation events across the country have come together to create the 2.6 Challenge and raise vital funds for the UK's charities.
As Street League's fundraising team, we wanted to do what we can to help the growing number of unemployed young people across the UK. We will each be taking on a 2.6 Challenge from 26th April and we need your support!
Nigel, Commercial Director, is taking on 26 press-ups a day for 26 days, adding a new t-shirt each day. The final day of 26 press-ups with 26 t-shirts will be streamed online and worth a watch!
Holly, Fundraising Manager, is walking 260 laps of her garden and taking on a 26 minute dance class.
Robyn, Head of Major Giving, will be doing a daily 26minute dance class, donating 26 items to her local foodbank, and attempting to bake a 26 layer cake to celebrate her birthday!
Liberty, Trust and Corporate Fundraiser, is running an amazing 26 miles over 8 days.
Joe, Corporate Partnerships Manager, is teaming up with five friends to run an incredible 260km in 8 days between them!
Georgia, New Business Development Manager, is walking a marathon (26.2 miles) in her garden and taking on a 2.6 minute sea swim.
Please show your support for our team, and please remember to Gift Aid your donation!
