Since 25th August, violence has erupted in Rakhine State (Myanmar), unleashing a full-scale humanitarian crisis. Thousands of displaced Rohingya families have been forced to flee and need vital aid.

Story

Since 25th August, an estimated 412,000 Rohingya refugees have crossed over into Bangladesh as their villages – and with it their homes and livelihoods – have been burnt. As the government forces escalate their brutal campaign of ‘ethnic cleansing’ against them, Rohingya families have been forced to flee the area, in search of refuge and security.

How often do we truly fear the burning of our own homes? The starvation of our children? The death of our loved ones? This is the every day reality for Rohingya refugees, and is it our duty, now more than ever, to help our brothers and sisters in need.

Muslim Hands have been supporting families in Myanmar since 2008, providing medical aid and building shelter homes for the displaced. With your generous donations we can continue to provide essential aid to Rohinyga refugees.

The Prophet (SAW) said "Guard yourself from the Hellfire even with half of a date in charity." [Bukhari]

Please help spread the word and donate whatever is within your means, it is the intention and not the amount so no matter how small please try to donate. May Allah reward you in abundance

Jazak'Allah Khairan.
