Story

Hello everyone and thankyou for taking the time to look at our JustGiving page. As a lot of you will know myself and my good friend Jim Goodrum have now done numerous charity walks for some fantastic causes very close to our hearts. This walk is no exception as this fantastic hospice has recently cared for a member of Jim and his wife Lorraines family in their end of life care. I'm sure you would agree with all of the things that are going on in the world at the moment that family is the most important thing above everything else. Throughout all of the pandemic these fantastic people who work at St. Cuthberts hospice have still been there for people who are in end of life care, ensuring they have a comfortable and dignified last few months/weeks/days. Their commitment to looking after families loved ones has been unwavering and Jim, his family and the rest of us boys believe the least we can do is raise some funds for this fantastic charity and all the people involved in it. We are all very aware of the financial stresses people are facing at the moment with fuel and gas prices rising at unprecedented levels but if you could afford even a pound to support our fantastic cause then we would be forever grateful. Thankyou Everyone. See you on the other side!!
