Memory Walk 2019
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year thousands of people will walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help, to raise as much money as possible to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

As many of you know, I lost my Mom to dementia on July 20th of this year, 8 years after her diagnosis. She was only 81 and otherwise healthy. It was one of the hardest things to watch my charismatic and strong willed Mom turn into someone entirely different while my Dad cared for her until the very end.

I have decided to participate in the Memory Walk on October 12th in memory of my Mom and will be joining others in a 26.2 mile walk through London. I have never done something of this distance but am confident I can manage and have a training plan in place.

Please consider donating. I know many of us have other causes close to our hearts but even a tiny amount helps and would be gratefully accepted.

Thank you.
