Story
Me and my family are taking part in a Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s Society, it’s on 29th September 2019 and is taking place at Aintree Racecourse.
As some of you may be aware, we lost our Nana Bella in 2013 to Dementia in Alzheimer’s disease and more recently, our Grandad John to the same awful disease. It truly is a devastating disease and to watch your loved one’s suffering is heart breaking.
This is why we want to try and raise as much money as we can for such a worthy charity, I’m sure this is a charity close to a lot of people’s hearts.
No donation is too small, all donations are greatly appreciated 😊
Thank you so much xxx
Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there. Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
