Story

Nancy’s Memory Walk 2018

Anyone who knows me knows that my Grandparents are my absolute world. However, after quite a while of showing signs, towards the end of last year my granma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Since this, i’ve watched the fantastic lady who I know and love as my granma slowly be taken over by the disease, and I fear constantly of the day that she forgets who I am.

On September 22nd 2018, I will be taking part, along with my sister in an Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk at Temple Newsam, in the hopes of raising money for the charity and raising awareness of Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

If you would like to donate, or even just share the link below, I would be extremely grateful. If you would even like to join us on our walk, to create your own group to walk in the memory of a loved one, or would just like some more information, please let me know!!

My granma has been my best friend for the longest time, and I would do anything to make her proud x
