Story
It's that time of year again and after smashing my target last year when I did the memory walk in Brighton I am hoping to do the same again this year!
This year will be a very special walk for me as it is in my home town of Peterborough. I lost my Nan 2 years ago and sadly for nearly 10 years of her life she had Dementia. To hopefully one day live in a world without Dementia we need to keep talking about our experiences & help educate eachother whilst raising as much money as we can!
Any donation no matter how big or small is hugely appreciated and if anyone would like to make a team and join me on the walk I always say the more the merrier!
Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there. Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
