Story
Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a cause close mine and my sister's hearts. Me and my sister, Carla, have decided to walk to raise money for this amazing charity, in hope that one day dementia doesn't exist or to find a cure. We have had a family member recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and know first hand how difficult it can be. Please take some time to read some information about this amazing charity.
Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that’s the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there. Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the Alzheimer's Society. So it’s the most efficient way to raise money – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Please donate whatever you can to help us raise as much money as we can. Thank you so much in advance to your support!
