At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Over the past couple of years my Nanny and Grandad have both passed away. My Grandad suffered from alzheimers. Alzheimers is a terrible illness that affects the memory and could affect anyone, and all those around them. It is currently incurable but there are ways to either delay or halt the progress, but ideally one day we can find a cure. I am doing this walk in the memory of my Nanny and Grandad and hope to raise just a little bit of money to help towards the research and development of finding a way to cure this terrible illness. Thanks.
