Story
Myself, and hopefully my family and friends, will be walking on Sunday 4th October 2015 at 11am in Liverpool Festival Gardens to help raise awareness for Dementia. I am walking to support my nan, Kathleen Bell, who has helped me throughout my life and was diagnosed with Dementia last October in 2014.
I am walking to help raise money for Dementia research so that one day, great people like my nan will not struggle to remember the small things in life. If any one wants to join our team, we're called team Kay (MW6309).
To sign up for the Memory Walk, or to find out more information about the walk, this is the link: https://www.memorywalk.org.ukAround 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that’s the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there. Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the Alzheimer's Society. So it’s the most efficient way to raise money – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
