We are attempting to raise funds in order to build a well in Mali. The well may serve up to 200 people who will access clean water which may be used for drinking, washing, cooking and to hydrate livestock. On average, 35 families will benefit from a well. Therefore the well will be located in a communal area such as a mosque, village centre or school. The wells will be able to draw water from up to 40 metres beneath the ground which makes them dependable throughout all seasons.
