Story
A big thank you to everyone that has supported us and donated so far, we all successfully completed the 2012 Paris Half Marathon. We have reached a remarkable total just shy of £800 at the time of writing, so if you haven’t already donated and would like to help us raise even more for the Robyn Higgins appeal and support the Neuroblastoma Alliance UK, it’s not too late!
In May 2009, Robyn Higgins was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma which had grown from her pelvis and spread to her bone marrow. Robyn immediately began treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Surrey, where she received nine doses of chemotherapy followed by a surgery to remove the primary tumour
In December 2011, Robyn was devastated to find out her neuroblastoma had come back. Robyn has already endured many different cancer treatments in the UK - but now the Neuroblastoma has returned, Robyn's best chance of conquering this awful cancer lies in specialised therapy in America from January 2012. This potentially lifesaving treatment is likely to cost in excess of £250,000.We aim to raise as much money as possible to give something towards Robyn's fundraising appeal.
