I know what you’re thinking – is this some sort of mid-life crisis or possibly just a cry for help?! Well I’m not ruling out the first option but it is most definitely the second (for confirmation I refer you to the image to your left).

After many years working in fundraising and cheering on those many hundreds of marathon runners I felt it was time to not just ‘talk the talk’ but to ‘walk the walk’ which may in fact be the only way to do it!

As many of you will know I have had the privilege of working for Breast Cancer Care for the last 3 years or so and I have been able to appreciate what amazing services the organisation provides to anyone affected by breast cancer.

With so many diagnosed each year, I know that many of you reading this will have been affected either directly or indirectly and will know only too well what the impact of a diagnosis of breast cancer can be. I am extremely proud of the work of Breast Cancer Care and would be extremely grateful if you could sponsor me so that the organisation can do what it does best - provide much needed emotional and practical support for anyone that is dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis.
