Story

As part of research for a new book, I am spending a week crossing the Basque Mountains then the Sierra Cantabria with two donkeys, Gaspar and Rocky. Oh yes, and Tati who knows something about donkeys. At least, I hope he does. I thought I would ask you for some modest support  - only £5 or £10, though more is welcome - to raise money for the The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre.

It ensures that their nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they  never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

COVID-19 has put pressure on the NHS, you can help relieve a bit of it, right here, right now!. I will try and keep you up to date on FB, or by e-mail, of how me and the donkeys are getting on. I might even take them on in the 'World Stubbornness Championships.'
