20 brave men "Beatson Ball Busters" will take on a Tandem Skydive at St Andrews Airfield to raise funds for Beatson Cancer Charity, collectively raising £100,000 for patients and families facing cancer.

Story

In the UK, 1 in 2 people will experience cancer in their lifetime. It could be any of us. In Scotland 30,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year and of those, 8,000 will rely on the Beatson Cancer Charity for emotional, psychological and practical support. This relates to NEW diagnoses, not those in remission.

Every pound from every donor makes a huge difference so any support is appreciated.

To help improve the treatment outcomes of every person behind these statistics the best possible chance, I will be taking part in the Beatson Ballbusters 2021 to raise money for the west of Scotland cancer centre.

20 brave men will be taking on an epic challenge on Saturday the 4th of September 2021 from St Andrews Skydiving Centre, Glenrothes. I will be among them, throwing myself out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft.
