We did it! We all met yesterday at 10am with great weather, not too hot not too cold, and off we set. After a rather speedy start it felt like it was going to be really hard going, but after we all found our own pace we settled into a great run. Scott, Pete and myself stuck together most of the way and towards the end took a wrong turn down a long steep hill. We were right at the bottom before we were sure we'd gone wrong and had to double back on ourselves, added another 1/2 mile to our run! But we all made it and collectively have raised over £700 so far for our chosen charities, TCT and HeartLine.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your generous donations! Without you this would have been a wasted effort so pat yourselves on the back for digging in your pocket and donating. I really do appreciate it!

Well the training for the run is paying off and today's run was the first one that I can say I actually enjoyed! And sharing my run on Facebook resulted in another £40 in donations this evening. That's awesome and really encourages me to keep going as my effort is bearing fruit! :) Thank you everyone who has donated so far :) spread the word!
