Story
This christmas God-willing I'll be walking 80km from Najaf to Karbala in Iraq as a tribute to the Husain ibne Ali (AS), the grandson of the Holy Prophet (SAW) who was killed along with 72 of his companions standing up for justice and freedomfighting against injustice and opression. For more information on his inspirational stand, please visit:

We are trying to raise money for Lady Fatemah Trust to bring light into villages across Karbala who have no access to electricity.
By the grace of God we are lucky enough to live in a part of the world where we don't think twice about the basic necessities that we have. But at times like this when you here or see the awful conditions some of our fellow brothers in humanity our living in, where light is a necessity some cant claim, it really shows us how blessed we are.
So sponser me today to help those not as blessed as us and bring light to their dark homes. This light will enable families to be safer in the dark, avoid inhalation of diesel fumes indoors, burnss due to naked flames and and allow children to study after dark. through Lady Fatemah Trust (a UK based charity who take 0% commission) all yout donations will go directly to funding this project. £300 pays for the installation and maintenance of one fixed solar lighting unit in a rural non-electrified household – that’s just £4 per kilometre of the walk.
£600 trains 4 people to install and maintain solar panels for households in 6 months – that’s just £8 per kilometre of the walk.
