Story
On April 17, I turn 67 and I plan to celebrate by running the London Marathon the following Sunday. To make the experience more meaningful and a shared one, I am also running to raise money for Dreams Come True.
So many of us have seen so many of our dreams come true--we have been blessed in countless number of ways. Why not help some kids see their dreams come true as well? Share a bit of the blessing?
Dreams Come True is a UK national children's charity, whose mission is to enrich the lives of children with serious and life-limiting conditions, by making their dreams come true. The day to day of everyday life for these kids can seem like an impossible mountain to climb, but with a dream, they can carry on. Even the simplest of dreams can bring a sense of hope and normality. And often, a priceless smile!
It is OK to buy a smile (or two), isn't it? Come join me -- we can afford it!
