In summer 2021, the Action Against Hunger team will finally take on the ultimate challenge, trekking to the highest point in Africa to raise vital funds to drive our mission to save the lives of malnourished children around the world.

Story

After an unexpected wait in 2020, this year I will finally complete my ultimate bucket-list challenge, trekking to the Roof of Africa! Taking on the stunning Machame route, I will trek through contrasting terrains, from rocky ravines to jungle climates, culminating at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in time for sunrise on the highest freestanding mountain in the world! As part of my challenge, I am fundraising for Action Against Hunger to support their lifesaving work in almost 50 countries, including in Tanzania itself. Thank you for your support of my challenge! Together, we can be the generation to create a world free from hunger, for everyone, for good.
