Story
Previously, the Maynooth University Law Department annually held a Christmas Bake Off Competition among its staff and PhD students to raise money for Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) Hospital Crumlin. Last year (2020), we were unable to hold the Bake Off event therefore the Department organised an alternative Christmas fundraiser, a ‘Christmas Walk for Crumlin’. This event took place in December 2020 and an incredible €1,000 was raised for CHI Hospital Crumlin.
This year Maynooth University Law Department’s staff and PhD students will again take part in a ‘Christmas Walk for Crumlin’ of either 5km or 10km over the weekend of Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of December 2021 #MaynoothLawforCrumlin
We appreciate all donations, however big or small, for this event and for such a worthy cause.
We ask those taking part in the walk or donating to tag Maynooth Law Department on social media with #MaynoothLawforCrumlin
The event will again be fundraising for Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) Crumlin who do #whateverittakes to give every sick child a fighting chance and provides excellent healthcare to children from all over Ireland every day. The impact of donations transform children lives for the better and supports their families across every day. CHF provides urgent funding where it is needed most across CHI at Crumlin and National Children’s Research Centre– from funding essential equipment and patient and parental supports to making new services and ground-breaking paediatric research possible.
