Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday the 8th of July, 2012, I will be attempting Challenge Roth, my first Iron Distance triathlon. For those of you that don't know, the Iron Distance triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim, followed but a 112 mile bike and is wrapped up with a good old fashioned 26 mile marathon - eek!
Rather than let all this effort go to waste, I thought I would dedicate this event to my Auntie Di, who sadly died last year after a long battle against cancer http://www.hebdenbridgetimes.co.uk/news/local/community_worker_and_supporter_of_the_arts_di_smith_1_3776153. Any money raised will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.
