Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

In the Summer of 2017, I will hike to the summit of the tallest mountain in Japan. At 12,388ft above sea level, it stands almost three times taller than our own Ben Nevis, so it should provide a decent challenge!

I will use this page as a way of documenting my journey. Not just after completing the hike, but also leading up to the big day itself. I'll need to do a lot of training!

This will be a self funded expedition, and every penny raised will go straight to my preferred charity, SAMH.

SAMH is the Scottish Association for Mental Health.

One in four people in Scotland will have a mental health problem at some point in their life. This means that you may know someone with a mental health problem.

Through donations, SAMH are able to provide direct help through community based support and raise awareness through national campaigns.
