In 2020 my step dad had a triple Bypass and his life was saved and changed fundamentally by the amazing doctors and Nurses at Brighton Hospital, and after recovery he completed this event in 2021, since then due to circulation issues and Diabetes he has  lost his Right leg below the knee (careless I know), so myself My my stepdad and my friend have decided to complete this event again, to show that with will power anything can be achieved and life does not stop because of a little surgery. "Carpe Diem"

It's also in support for my late mother-in-law who passed away because of aortic stenosis. A heart condition that caused her death in 2020 and has been missed ever since,.
