For the last 20 years, Mt. Olive Pickle dropped a pickle on New Year's Eve. Until last year, of course: the COVID 19 pandemic forced us to have a virtual event. So we added this virtual food drive to continue the tradition of a canned food collection, something we've done since the very first public Pickle Drop in 2001.

This year, the New Year's Eve Pickle Drop returns live and in person at the University of Mount Olive on December 31, 2021. The pickle will drop at 7 o'clock sharp! As always, we will webcast the event live on our website at www.mtolivepickles.com. We also decided to bring  back the virtual food drive.

We are asking our Mt. Olive Pickle fans - the best fans in the world - to support Food Bank of CENC's vital work in our community. Donations made now through December 31 will be DOUBLED by friends of Food Bank, and Mt. Olive will match all food drive donations up to $5,000 from now through Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Your gifts will have TRIPLE the impact! Now that's just dill-lightful.
