Story

10th April 2022

Becky's gonna run Brighton Marathon 26 MILES...

I have been invited to run the Brighton Marathon to help support Pernicious Anemia Society their Mission: To secure a full and comprehensive review of the way in which Pernicious Anaemia is diagnosed and treated that will lead to more timely diagnoses and better treatment by: Providing information to patients and health professionals Providing help and support to patients and their families Engaging in research with the health research community Lobbying decision makers.

I am also making this another one of my goals to achieve in life. I have recently completed the Kernow Killer challenge run and now would like to run a full Marathon surrounded by lots of people.. This isn't going to be something that I find easy and I will have to set my self a plan and stick to it. It will require me to have some self discipline, make the for myself and keep a positive head.

I have learnt to run over the past 2 years to help keep my head clear and keep my self mentally fit. Now I'm going to see if I can enjoy running 26 miles.. Apparently there are some tough hills!!!
