We provide specialist care and support to life-threatened children & their family

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our target will fund 100 hours of care by an EACH clinical nurse specialist.

When I was asked what charity I wished to support this year there was no question in my mind as to which one it would be. The charity I have chosen to support is the East Anglian Children’s Hospice. I have chosen this particular charity because the work that they do, strikes a very personal chord with my family who have had to use the services of such an organisation when our son was diagnosed with leukaemia. Particularly important is that EACH offers families flexibility and control over where they receive their care and support, including where their child dies; at home, in hospital or at one of their three hospices. With only a sixth of their income coming from statutory sources, EACH has a heavy reliance on fund raising so I look to fellow Councillors to support me as much as they can to raise money for this very worthwhile cause.

Thank you

Paul Ekpenyong - MSDC Chairman
