Gemma and Sam are challenging themselves to walk a marathon a day across 4 days in a bid to raise money for Macmillan. We will be going to visit all of the M&S stores across Lancashire and Cumbria on the way! That is over 100 miles in total! We begin our walk on Friday 23rd September in Bolton and finish on Monday 26th September in Dumfries!

The enthusiasm, support and hard work of M&S employees and customers has raised an incredible £23.3 million for Macmillan to date, and were here to make sure you have everything you need to make your 2022 fundraiser another incredible success.Your donations mean Macmillan can be there for more people from the day of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, to help them take back control in their life and make them feel like themselves again. All of the money raised by M&S is restricted to funding Macmillan Healthcare Professionals, including support advisers, cancer information nurse specialists, financial guides and welfare rights advisers. With almost 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today, the demand for Macmillan professionals has never been higher. That figure is set to rise to four million in 2030.
