Story
In 2012 I walked into Brereton Primary School to teach my first Year 4 strings music class.
So began my love of teaching and particularly a love of teaching at Brereton.
As the years went by, I wanted to make more of a difference, be with one class and help them grow, learn and develop. I spoke to a certain Mrs Wood who took me under her wing, becoming my mentor and finally my colleague.
I am extremely grateful to Mrs Wood, Mrs Mclean and all at Brereton for inspiring and supporting me…and now it’s time for me to give back.
I’m running the Loch Ness marathon on October 3rd, the day after my 50th birthday. I’m hoping that I can raise enough money for the school to buy an interactive whiteboard- a resource that is desperately needed throughout school.
