Story
Oliver Marshall Clark (28th July 1992 - 1st May 2012)
“I almost wish we were butterflies and liv'd but three summer days - three such days with you I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain.”
― John Keats
On the 1st May 2012 my beautiful best friend and boyfriend passed away from heart failure.
Having been diagnosed with Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy three years ago, he lived life with a 'carpe diem' spirit. As such, the "Make a Wish Foundation" became very close to my heart.
Whilst Ollie is no longer with us what can provide comfort is the knowledge that he lived life exactly how he intended, and most importantly that he was happy. As the "Make a Wish Foundation" grant magical wishes to children and young people aged 3-17 fighting life-threatening conditions, they too, support the notion of living life to its entirety and enjoying the moments.
On September 16th 2012 I will be running in the "Bupa Great North Run" in aid of this charity and hope to raise as much money possible. Words cannot describe my appreciation towards those that wish to support this cause.
Thankyou for taking the time to read this. x
