Story

The Manchester 24 Hour Run Against Homelessness is returning for its 4th edition in 2022. Manchester Road Runners will be joining to offer our support for this amazing event. Please sponsor the charity and join us for the run on Weds 16th Nov for the 7pm stage.

The event is raising money for The Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity scheme, A Bed Every Night, which provides a comfy bed, a warm welcome, and person support for anyone sleeping rough on the streets of Manchester.

You can join for a 5km lap around the city centre of Manchester, at anytime during the 24 hours of the event. It's completely free to take part and the laps are open to all abilities, with run leaders present to guide you. You can run as many or as little laps as you'd like. Simply turn up to our host venue at 53two and join in the next lap to depart.

Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity raises funds to support homelessness initiatives across the city region. Nobody in our city region should be without a safe, secure place to call home. Yet there are many for whom this is out of reach. It isn't right. Not anywhere, but certainly not here.
