Story
MRM's charity of the year 2018 is BIRT (Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust), which comes under the umbrella charity, The Disabilities Trust.
What does BIRT do?
The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) is an organisation that strives to provide the best quality neurobehavioural rehabilitation for people with complex and challenging needs after brain injury.
Why did we choose BIRT as our charity of the year?
BIRT have personally helped our employee, Phoebe, whose mum returned home after a life-changing brain injury thanks to the high-quality care they provided. By raising money, we aim to help others receive the same treatment.
What are we doing to fundraise?
The main event: Tough Mudder, 12th October. Nine keen MRMers will be wading through oodles of mud and helping each other over 10 horrible obstacles, all in the name of charity.
