Story
My parents taught me three things at an early age: work hard for what you want, give back to those who need help, and always be there for each other no matter what.
My name is Edward Messer. I am a junior at LaSalle High School and I'm running for Mr. LaSalle. I have attended Catholic school since I was five years old and I live, sleep and eat baseball. I also have a part time job and give back to those in need when I can like Meals On Wheels - Yakima, making blankets for the homeless, and NW Harvest.
Part of running for Mr. LaSalle is to raise awareness and money for Children's Village. I believe strongly that we should give back when we can so that is why I wanted to participate. Plus, being raised around my special needs aunt, this opportunity was even more important to me because Children's Village helps children with special and developmental healthcare needs and their families.
I want to help do that, but I need your help. I would really appreciate it if you would please consider donating to help those in need at Children's Village.
A little help goes a long way if we work hard, give back to those who need our help and continue to be there for each other.
Thank you!
