Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our page.

As a department we will be walking, running and cycling 2021 miles during the month of April.

We are fundraising for the Manchester Royal Infirmary Emergency Department fund. During the COVID-19 pandemic we have had to use another room as a staff room due to social distancing. The money will go to doing up our staff room so that our staff can have well deserved comfortable breaks with tables where we can eat and nice seating. Any left over money will go towards staff wellbeing projects. Something we really could do with after the year we have all had!

UPDATE: On Thursday 8th April the staff absolutely smashed the target by covering more than 2021 miles. We are now continuing to see how many miles we can rack up. So far we have gone as far as Manchester to Turkey and we'll update you as we progress.

Thank you so much for your support, it means so much to us all.
