The weather seems really cold at the minute this year this seems like it going to be harder than I thought
This year, I'm braving the elements once again to sleep rough, on Friday 22nd October at Meadowhall Sheffield. I've joked before to say I should get a bed at work and now I almost am - except this will be in the car park.
Doing the Rotherham sleepout last year was horrible - it started to rain at 3am and my cardboard box got soggy! It really made me think about how horrible it is for children to feel they have little choice but to sleep rough on the streets and placing them in danger.
The money I raise will help SAFE@LAST keep more vulnerable young runaways safe who are thrown out by their parents or guardians or have to endure horrendous abuse and violence.
