I am Jacob Thompson, and I am ‘Braving the Shave’ for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is relentless. But so are we. Let’s stand up to Cancer and refuse to sit down!

1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime. 2 in 4 will actually survive it. This is why we feel it so important to raise as much awareness and funding as we can to hopefully one day change that statistic for the better.

I, MRC’s own Head Boy, will be having Mr Edwards shave my head to raise money for Cancer Research. There will also be other Sixth formers partaking to help raise money. 

People with longer hair who have decided to take length off will have it donated to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for young people who are going through Cancer.
