Story
In 2019, I jumped out of a plane in Wiltshire. In 2023, I will attempt to climb the three highest peaks in Great Britain. Why am I doing this?
City of London School is special for many reasons and this challenge will help to raise money for two of those reasons: our 2023 Bursary Appeal and our 2023 pupil charity Appeal: Providence Row.
Both initiatives change lives.
It is my aim to raise £24,000 towards helping young people attend CLS, regardless of their financial circumstances, as well as supporting those experiencing homelessness in east London via Providence Row, the pupil charity for 2023.
I am not sure my husband, Geraint, knew this was a requirement as spouse of the Head at City of London School, but he will be joining me as we head to Fort William on 2 June 2023 to climb Ben Nevis the following morning. We climb Scafell Pike in the Lake District later that evening, before an overnight drive to tackle Yr Wyddfa on Sunday morning.
Geraint, as a proud Welshman, is most looking forward to finishing in his home country. I will just be glad to be finishing before the start of term on Monday.
We are so lucky to have such a committed community of parents, alumni and friends and I hope you will join me in raising money for these two great causes. Thank you for your support.
