Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page raising money to transform Burrell House into a specialist hub for palliative care. Something I feel is really important for all families with seriously ill loved ones.
Winchester Hospice will be there to support patients and their families whenever needed and need to raise just under £3 million to convert the existing property.
The Winchester Hospice will support and empower patients with life limiting illnesses, and their families, through a number of palliative care services.
With services in the hospice and in the community, we will help local people in and around Winchester nearing the end of their lives to live as well as possible.
A specialist team will be there to make sure that our patients and their families can spend special time together, whilst we look after everything else.
The Winchester Hospice is part of the NHS and will be run by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which was rated as Outstanding for End of Life Care in the most recent Care Quality Commission inspection.
