Story
On 1st July 2015 I lost my dad, Mark Radstone, to lymphoma. He fought the illness for 3 years having endured numerous rounds of chemo and radiotherapy. It was devastating to watch let alone to actually endure with the side effects it brings and anything that therefore can be done to find a cure should be done. This of course requires money for research and I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to assist this fantastic charity, Lymphoma Action in achieving that aim.
As is often said the loss of a loved one never gets any easier but somehow we learn to cope and that in my experience is true. I think about my dad daily, he was an inspiration to me, a wonderful father who gave me nothing but support. I try to emulate him with the approach I take with my own children. So this marathon is being run in my amazing dad's memory and I hope to do him proud.
Thank you in advance for all donations and support it really is greatly appreciated.
With all my love and appreciation,
Matt
