The 37th Great Christmas Pudding Race will take place in the West Piazza of Covent Garden, London, on Saturday December 2.

Teams in fancy dress – which in previous years have included cowboys, teapots and Ozzy Osbournes, Christmas trees and of course Christmas puddings - are currently polishing up their pudding-balancing skills ready for the race. The teams will negotiate the Its-A-Knockout-style course of inflatables and obstacles while balancing a Christmas pud on a tray and being pelted with flour, foam and water!
