We feed orphaned and vulnerable children to give them food to live and flourish.

Story

Three year old Mpokho doesn’t know what a full tummy feels like; she is so hungry and her risk of premature death increases if she’s not given the critical care she needs.

Mpokho was left with her grandmother by her parents, but her grandmother cannot provide for her because she is elderly and unable to work. Although Mpokho is critically underfed and malnourished, her grandmother cannot see how sick she is.

Msizi Africa can bring Mpokho into the safety of our feeding centres to ensure she has a warm, nutritious meal every day. All this costs is £1.33 a day.  There are seventy little boys and girls in Mpokho's village who have been identified as being at critical need. They will starve without us.

Mpokho will also benefit from personalised care given by our team:

•    In addition to her daily meal, she will be given additional nutritional foods to help increase her weight and boost her badly damaged immune system

•    Our team will attempt to find her parents or make referrals to a care facility with a loving family environment for her to grow up in

•    Her health will be regularly monitored by medical professionals

Please help Mpokho - she is relying on you.

We feed 130 children in Lesotho who have either been orphaned as a result of AIDS or who are vulnerable for some other reason. Instead of worrying about when they might eat next, our food and food related programmes safeguard their health and enable them to attend school.
