In July 2025, over ten of us girls have challenged ourselves to take on the Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

We sadly lost our gorgeous girly ✨Ella✨last year to cancer after a shocking diagnosis which saw her only have a few months left to live. She loved a stroll and after her diagnosis all she wanted to do was go on nice walks. She kept this up as long as she could and continued to be one of the brightest people in our lives despite everything she was going through. She took joy in thinking of us doing a horrible fundraiser for her so I know she’d be chuckling at us all signing up for this. It makes it even more special that we’ve walked sections of this route together in the past 💖

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support. Services like this were really important to Ella towards the end of her life.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
