Ukraine has faced almost eight years of conflict. With recent events, we want to be there for everyone who needs us

Story

This performance of Mozart’s Requiem is taking place at St Mary’s Cathedral, Great Western Rd, Glasgow.

100% of the money raised from this concert will be given to the Red Cross DEC Ukraine Humanitarian appeal, and will help to support refugees and civilians caught up in the conflict in Ukraine.

Everyone involved with the concert tonight has kindly given their time and talent for free, for which I am profoundly grateful. St Mary’s have also generously provided the use of their beautiful cathedral at no cost. The professional singers and musicians giving the performance are from Scottish Opera, conducted by Derek Clark.

Please give generously to support this important cause.
