The Firewalk 2021, 3 December 2021
St Andrews First Aid is challenging you to take part in our firewalk to help raise funds that will support our volunteer First Aiders to continue to deliver life saving training and support in communities across Scotland.

Story

This December I will be taking part in St Andrews First Aid very first Firewalk hosted by Blaze The Firewalk Experts. Yes, it's a real fire  burning at an average temperature of 1236 degrees Fahrenheit! To put it into perspective: paper combusts at 451 degrees Fahrenheit, aluminium melts at 1100 degrees Fahrenheit! Please donate to support the work of our volunteers and help fund projects like the new Ready for Life programme which gives young people aged 14+ who are outwith normal attainment levels and living in socially deprived areas, the opportunity to leave school with a recognised certification in First Aid and First Aid for Mental Health. The course not only helps them to deal with mental health issues, it is a useful addition to a CV, helping to improve employability opportunities and life chances.

Thank you!
