Story
When I was just 8, I had a tonic colonic seizure and if not for the paramedic coming, I could have died or been seriously affected long term. It took a while but eventually, I was diagnosed with epilepsy. Now my epilepsy consultant Dr Walker is helping me and my epilepsy nurse Mel is always there for any support we need. Last year, I raised over 1000 pounds for epilepsy support and research and this year I hope to achieve 1500 pounds by climbing Ben Lomond when I am in Scotland this summer. I never let epilepsy hold me back, and I never will. Now I want to make sure everyone learns more about epilepsy and that funding goes towards helping people with epilepsy to live amazing lives.
