Nearly a year ago, our mum, Mary, died of cancer. Her final week was spent at Bolton Hospice where the staff there cared for her and her family in an amazingly wonderful way.

As a way of honouring her and raising some much needed funds for the Hospice, we are walking the 55 mile distance between John's house in Sheffield and the Hospice over the Coronation Bank Holiday weekend. John is also running the Manchester Marathon three weeks beforehand while Joe practises his walking.
