Our fabulous MDS employees are joining #TeamLegend!*  to run 13.1 miles for our fantastic charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust.

The team have been training (well we hope they have/are) to run the world’s biggest half marathon on 8^th September this year.

Last year we raised £15,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust and this year we are feeling super competitive and want to beat our grand total. 

This charity is making a huge impact and with further support they will be able to provide specialist nursing care to more younger people. Did you know? …

• £30 could pay for an hour of care from a TCT nurse
• £1,000 can pay for one hour of all care/support offered to young people with cancer
• £2,500 could buy a digital jukebox in a social area so young people with cancer can relax with friends, family and other young patients
• £25,000 is the annual cost to maintain one of TCT’s units, which includes ongoing maintenance/repairs, operational costs, Wi-fi and TV contracts.
