Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS) is a rare genetic disease affecting every organ system in the body. BBS begins to affect the health of a child before birth and continues to affect daily activities throughout life.

Story

Please join us as we raise funds for BBS research at the Marshfield Clinic and the Center of Excellence.  We plan to do our walk as a POKEMON HUNT!  Our team name is the Pokémon Pouncers because both Ashley and Carly LOVE Pokemon!!  I hope and pray that the day NEVER comes when they can no longer see their beloved Pokémon.   Research is the only way to save their remaining vision.  Both girls are legally blind but there is hopeful research going on now for vision.  Carly is already on the study drug, Setmelanotide, which has caused her to lose nearly 80 pounds!

Any amount is welcome!  Please help us!

Thank you and happy hiking!!
